Hey! What do you know?! It's Episode 11! I told you we could not be stopped! Although it did take me getting a new computer, but that's a whole OTHER story! Alright, enough with the exclamation points. In this episode, we go over quite a bit of news (where I find that I cannot read the word 'qwikster' correctly as I misspell it twice), a rather neat 3², some interesting scary movies and one of our favorite Twilight Zone episodes so far. And no, we are NOT on another hiatus! My computer decided to take another dump on me and I am in the process of fixing it. We will have this week's show up as soon as possible, though thanks to the wonders of technology, I can at least provide this update with my Droid Incredible. So, think good thoughts in my direction, and keep those fingers crossed! Episode 11 is on its way!

Holy crap! We did it! A REAL episode! It is nice to be back, that's for sure! And to get things rolling, we jump back on the bicycle that is our show and discuss news from all the corners of the internet, along with some avid movie discussion and Twilight Zone recap. All this, in about an hour! It's like a cross between Lens Crafters and a podcast, apparently. So, let's get to it! Saturday Sep 10, 2011
Okay, so basically, this is the explanation of why we haven't really had an episode 8. We're going with "THE CURSE OF THE O-CHO!" I do, however, make sure to provide you with what the episode was supposed to be about, as well as examples of our fantastic fail abilities...they do abound.... Anyway, we sincerely apologize for the wait, and we shall press on with Episode 9 back on our regular schedule! Tuesday Aug 02, 2011
Well, after a massive amount of ado, I am FINALLY able to bring you Episode 7! This time 'round, we decided to record at seven in the morning, as well as while we were in vacation mode. So, there. At any rate, we do discuss some movie news, what we think of Netflix, as well as the normal stuff! And because Tim was smarter than me this episode, the 3² for next week gets announced at the end of the show instead of at the end of the 3² segment because I forgot. Though Tim forgot to provide his links, so I guess we're kind of even. Enjoy! Here's the breakdown: News @ 0:08:00 3² @ 0:30:30 Captain America (Matt's Impressions) @ 0:39:10 The Name of the Rose @ 0:43:40 Secretariat @ 0:47:10 Harry Brown @ 0:52:05 Classic Film Recommendation @ 1:00:45 "Lonely" @ 1:01:45 What We're Watching @ 1:05:35 Links from the Show: Click here for the Snow White images! Episode 5

Tuesday Jul 12, 2011
Yes! We have successfully gone through five episodes! In what we refer to as our "After Dark" episode (simply because we recorded from 1am - 4am), we find out just what exhaustion does for recording a podcast! Turns out, not so much...we only ended up with 57 minutes of content...which includes the fact that we forgot to do the classic movie recommendation. So, we got together and decided on Rosemary's Baby. Creepy, but amazing! On the plus side, we got some new tunes from to use from Cries of Solace, including my personal all-time favorite "Why" which is featured as the background music this go round. So, here's the breakdown: News @ 4:25 3² @ 24:04 Transformers: Dark of the Moon (Tim's Impressions) @ 33:40 Horrible Bosses @ 36:40 No Escape @ 42:45 Brick @ 46:10 "Walking Distance" (Tim's Impressions) @ 51:00 What We're Watching @ 54:20 Here are the links from the show: Click here for the Kate Hudson Baby info! Yes, I know this episode is late. But, it was my birthday yesterday and the celebrations were going on since Friday. And that's the way it was. Anyway, in this episode, we tackle the important subjects in entertainment news, as well as go over SIX movies! And we still managed to keep it shorter than the first episode! HA-HA! We also do our classic movie recommendation along with our Twilight Zone Episode recap of "Mr. Denton on Doomsday." We got some feedback on the time stamps, so we'll keep doing those! Monday Jun 20, 2011
Hello & howdy! If you've read this far, then you weren't scared off by the first episode! Good for you! As a reward, you now get episode 2! In this episode, that we hope prevents the treacherous condition known as "theater butt," we manage to discuss three movies, do movie news, recommend a classic we think you're sure to love, and cover "One for the Angels," which is episode 2 from the first season of Twilight Zone (Original Series). For those of you without much time, allow me to breakdown our podcast for your convenience: News @ 0:01:00 3² @ 0:19:45 The Nude Bomb @ 0:29:00 Johnny Dangerously @ 0:39:40 Hud @ 0:48:30 Classic Film Recommendation @ 0:58:10 "One for the Angels" @ 0:58:55 Movies We'll Be Watching @ 1:03:00 As always, please rate and leave comments to let us know your thoughts! We would love to hear from you! Remember: if you like to one-stop shop, we are on iTunes now, so you can subscribe and rate there, too! Enjoy! Matt P.S.--Also, I wanted to give a quick shout-out to our impromptu webmaster Jeremy Page--my good friend--who fixed our Episode 1 Links so that they no longer looked like copy/paste nightmares. Tim and I are still learning! Don't judge us! :P (All music within the podcast is copyrighted 2010/2011 by Cries of Solace and is used with permission.)

Episode 1
Monday Jun 13, 2011
Monday Jun 13, 2011
Well, we have finally done it! We have destroyed the medium known as podcasting! In our first episode, Tim and I find out what it's like to fail miserably at creating a thirty minute podcast (we came in at just under an hour-and-a-half). We go over what the podcast is all about, and discuss four movies: Arsenic and Old Lace, Richard III, Stone & X-Men: First Class. We also go over some movie news, as well as recap "Where Is Everybody?" which is the first episode of Season One from The Twilight Zone (Original Series). Additionally, there was some debauchery, but you'll have to wait for the blooper episode to find all that out. Thanks so much for your patience whilst I recovered from my illness. I hope you enjoy the episode as much as we did making it! Matt Here's a couple links that go with the show! 1. The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo poster. You'll have to get past the god awful Three Musketeers poster... but it's well worth it. (NSFW) Click here! 2. The link to a scene from Extra's featuring Ricky Gervais and the great Ian Mckellen. "Sir Ian Sir Ian Sir Ian Sir Ian action, 'WIZARD! YOU SHALL NOT PASS!' CUT! Sir Ian Sir Ian Sir Ian" Click here! Enjoy Folks! -Tim- (All music within the podcast is copyrighted 2010/2011 by Cries of Solace and is used with permission.)

Welcome to The SLS Cast!
Thursday May 26, 2011
Thursday May 26, 2011
Hey there! Thanks so much for stopping by! This is the home of The SLS Cast, where your hosts Matt and Tim are here to discuss...THE MOVIES! We will have different segments involving discussion of three to four movies a week, movie news, classic film recommendations, a classic television series episode recap, celebrity obituaries (when we can do them in threes, since that's how they apparently happen anyway) and a special segment we like to call 3²! And even though the math doesn't work, it's a cool name and we stuck with it. You'll understand once we describe what it is, and to do that you'll have to give it a listen! Our first cast is scheduled for June 14, and released every Tuesday thereafter. As we get ready for the first cast, there are many people to thank, cheifly: Our friends and family, Chris F., Jeremy P., Rob H., Mike R., and our amazing music partners Cries of Solace (and you can find them on MySpace & Facebook, of course)! Thanks again for stopping by and reading this, as well as bearing with us as we develop the site! Know that we look forward to providing you with a unique and very entertaining experience.
